Programs and Training:
The CTAA Community Transportation and Safety Review Program:
In its essence this is a protocol for on-site reviews of transit systems to certify they are addressing the critical components of a safety and security program, including all the Core Elements of the Federal Transit Administration's Model Transit Bus Safety and Security Program.
The Transportation Operations Review:
This option is less extensive that the Training, Safety and Security Review. This program targets specific daily operational and information systems issues. Designed for smaller transit systems, it allows for a professional examination of existing operations and proposes remedial recommendations based on Federal Requirements, National Standards and Industrial Best Practices.
Passenger Assistance, Service and Safety:
Paratransit providers will receive newly updated training and professional certification in the critical elements of safety, passenger assistance and disabilities awareness. The program affords both the provider organization and the driver the ability to reduce organizational liability by supplying; comprehensive "training to proficiency" on the assistance drivers should be providing to passengers with special needs.
Included in this course for drivers, supervisors and managers is an intensive emergency situation training segment proven to save lives in a critical moment.
Information Systems Security:
The era of modern computer networks such as the Internet has greatly enhanced productivity in the workplace. This productivity comes with some hidden costs. The incidences of information security breeches and the theft of personal identifiable information are happening at an alarming rate. Most people believe that if they are not a very large organization, they may not be prone to information security issues. They believe in "security through obscurity". "Why would anyone want our information?" The answer is anyone who can gain access to you information may want it. There are organized groups that scour the Internet all day, every day for the "back door" into your network to obtain anything and everything they can.
We can provide custom tailored information security training for your whole organization. System users are a formidable force against
Information Security breached when they are trained properly.
We can also provide Information Security audits and consulting, network and file system security assessments, business continuity and disaster recovery training. Custom business continuity and disaster recovery consulting is also available.
Financial Services Consulting & Planning:
Transportation funding is often a complex mix of Federal, State and Local funding sources. TTGONA can assist you in understanding the issues associated with many of these programs. In addition, our friends at Elko and Associates can be a great resource for many financial services.
